HOW Festival 2025 – A New Chapter for the Region’s Leading Hotel Conference
Global Hospitality Stars Arrive in Zadar – Fewer Panels, More Inspiration!
The 9th edition of the HOW Festival will take place from December 3–5, 2025, at the Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala in Petrčane near Zadar.
This year’s HOW Festival brings an entirely new concept. Instead of traditional panel discussions, the focus will be on world-class keynote speakers – true stars of the global hospitality industry who will share their insights, experiences, and visions for the future through talks and interviews. The goal is to inspire participants and spark the creation of new ideas.
In addition, HOW 2025 introduces hands-on workshops dedicated to key areas of daily hotel operations – from sales and marketing to technology and safety – equipping participants with practical tools and knowledge they can immediately apply in their work.

This year’s program brings together exceptional global leaders whose work and ideas have helped shape modern hospitality.
Ryan Minton – “Thank You for Coming in Today”
An award-winning author, speaker, and member of the Forbes Business Council, Minton is renowned for his work in motivation and leadership. He will reveal how to build a culture of excellence within hotel teams and create memorable guest experiences. His approach – developing hospitality from within the team – has redefined global industry standards.
Ivan Artolli – “Legends Talk”
One of Europe’s most respected hoteliers, former Board Member of the Rocco Forte Group and General Manager of the legendary Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Artolli will share stories from his 40-year career – about luxury, authenticity, and the defining moments that shaped his perspective on managing world-class hotels.
Luc Gesvret – “Beyond Discounts: Loyalty as a Driver of Trust and Long-Term Relationships”
With over 20 years of experience leading Accor’s Loyalty Program, Gesvret offers deep insights into building trust and loyalty. His session will demonstrate how strong, long-term brands are created through smart data use and meaningful guest relationships.
Hans Meyer – “Reimagining Hospitality: What the Hotels of Tomorrow Will Look Like”
Co-founder of the revolutionary CitizenM and Zoku brands, Meyer will explore the future of hotels as multifunctional spaces that blend design, technology, and community. His vision redefines the hotel experience, designing every room, space, and service around people, their needs, and creativity.

“Just as every hotel needs a refresh after some time, this year we decided to return to the drawing board and create something new. My guiding idea was inspiration – I want participants to feel inspired by what they’ll hear. Some of these speakers I’ve known for many years, others more recently, and some I haven’t yet met in person – but they all have one thing in common: I love listening to them. They have so many stories, so much knowledge and experience… I hope they’ll inspire participants as much as they inspire me,” said Marina Franolić, Director of the HOW Festival.
Beyond the main program, attendees can look forward to an exciting social schedule – speed networking, a pub quiz, stand-up performance, gala dinner, and evening party – delivering the signature HOW mix of education, inspiration, and fun.
