Accessible Travel and Tourism
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 15% of the world’s population (1.3 billion people) live with some form of disability. Are you effectively catering to this demographic and is accessibility incorporated into your travel company policies and products?
Accessibility means something different to everyone, and is an opportunity for businesses, destinations and companies to embrace all visitors and enhance their revenues. Attend ABTA’s newly updated training day and hear inspirational case studies and guidance on how to set and achieve accessibility standards as part of your on going responsible tourism strategy.
Expert speakers will lead sessions on a variety of topics, including; your legal responsibilities, tour design inspiration, providing clear information about the accessibility of your products, inclusive customer service and marketing accessible travel. This event will also provide an update on guidance available to the industry including ABTA’s accessible tourism training.
